Flash slide show

For my multimedia class we just finished our second assignment. It was a dynamic flash slide show which was supposed to demonstrate an activity that occurs here at BYU-Idaho. The class was divided into groups and my group decided to highlight "Music Outlet." Music Outlet is a show that happens every Monday night and gives students an opportunity to share some music that they have written. We asked a local photographer to take pictures of the show (Rognon Photography was the photographer who took all the pictures, which were awesome.)

I am currently taking a class called Multimedia Production. In this class I am leaning how to write action script and use a program called Adobe Flash. So far we have done one assignment. For this assignment we chose a business that advertised in the school newspaper and we then had to create a web advertisement for that company. The link below will lead you to my first project.

The other day I was able to take some pictures of a beautiful mom and her son. The first two are the original pictures that I took of them both. I then later took them through Photoshop. I was pretty pleased with how they turned out. The mom was too.

So I just spent 6 hours today on looking up forums to ad articles and my opionions about the advertising world. This is something that is much more difficult then what I thought it was going to be. Every forum that I went to did not allow you to put links into your comments. They would block your comments and block you articles. I can see why this would be a full time job where dozens of people are there to find and produce articles. So if anyone has a few more tips please feel free to help out.

Makeshiftads.com is up

Recently I have finished my web site. It was a final project for a class at school, and I had a lot of fun doing it. It took me a few times to get the look and feel that I wanted, but when it was done, I was pretty happy about it. If you haven't guessed it is called Makeshiftads.com. It talks about some of the design work, logo work, and advertising work that I have done for various projects. It also gives a better idea on who I am and also what I am capable of. Of course I will hopefully be adding more projects, and other site to it. I am looking for my next project so if you have any suggestions you can contact me.
